BYMAN RANCH

The beginning of the pump system shows the surge tube set up in the 150 mm diameter steel drive tube.

The 18.2 m long drive tube has a 1.5 m drop from the screened drive tube water entry point to the pump location.

Evert Byman, of the E-M Cattle Co., is shown adjusting the 320 Glockemann he installed single handily at the ranch overlooking the Fraser River, north of Williams Lake, B.C.

The 1 1/4" delivery line begins the 366 m long 78 m high climb to the storage tank.

The 73 mm piston pump pushes 4 L minute, 24 hours a day up to the storage tank positioned above the house and gardens.

1440 minutes X 4 L = 5760 L ÷ 3.78 = 1524 US gal per day.

The tank holds 11350 L of water for gravity distribution for use in the barns, garden and the beautiful rockeries, around the property, created by Mrs. Byman.
